CMKKY Website Government’s ambitious plan Chief Ministers’ Skills Karnataka Scheme was launched on 5th May 2017. The CMKKY project has been implemented with the objective of providing youth oriented and industry related skills training, training to promote self-employment and revitalize Karnataka’s traditional arts. The overall cost of the training will be borne by the government and employment will be provided upon completion of the training. 1. PMKVY Website The PMKKY project is one of the major projects of the Government of India. The Prime Minister’s Skill Development Center has been set up at Nitinally Virajpet to facilitate skills training for youth in the district. Free Short Term Training Programs are being conducted in the Training Center by Assistant Electrician, Retail Sales Associates. Unemployed youth of the district can avail of the free training programs under this scheme. Age: 18-45 years.
NRLM Website NRLM aims to alleviate rural poverty and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for the rural poor. For this purpose, NRLM seeks to promote sustainable community-based organizations that facilitate financial services, financial services and other qualifications for the rural poor.
DAY- NULM Website Allowing them access to lucrative self-employment and skilled wage employment to reduce the poverty and vulnerability of urban poor families will result in significant improvements in their livelihoods on a sustainable basis by building strong bottom-up institutions. The mission is aimed at providing asylum to urban refugees with essential services step by step. Additionally, the mission addresses the livelihood concerns of urban street traders by providing access, corporate lending, social security and skills to the right places for urban street traders to access emerging market opportunities.
PM- svanidhi Website The PM Street Vendor’s Atma Nirbhar Nidhi (SVANidhi) Scheme was launched in June 2020 as a Micro-Credit facility which aims to empower street vendors to recover losses incurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
CEDOK Website The CEDOK Center is offering entrepreneurship development training in all districts to provide self-employment. Applicants interested in starting a business are regularly consulted with industry, business and government agencies and are trained on topics such as entrepreneurship, project opportunity management, micro-entrepreneurship, group entrepreneurship, project evaluation and financing. International Migration Centre – Karnataka (IMC – K) Website The Department of Skills Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihoods has implemented the Intranational Immigration Center – Karnataka (IMCK) Project to establish sustainable foreign employment opportunities for the people of Karnataka, to make the migration of the gap safe, orderly, humane and sustainable. IMCKKA will work with the District Youth Development Office in the district for those interested in foreign employment. More information about.
Apprenticeship Website Apprenticeship training is one of the most effective ways to develop a skilled manpower for the industry, using the training facilities available in organizations without puttinsg any additional burden on the coffers to establish the training infrastructure. After apprenticeship training, individuals can easily adapt to the industrial environment during regular employment.

Skill Hub initiative Website Candidates who have not been enrolled in the college and will be given free vocational skills training to students aged 15 to 45 who have not been enrolled in the school during Kovid-19 by Rashtriya Skills Development Corporation and Karnataka Skills Development Corporation, 2021-22. As regards the Kodagu district 1.GPUC of Kushalanagar town Biometric data entry operator and assistant beauty therapist in high school. 2.Service Junior In the Town of Ponnampete, Automotive Service Technician and Biometric Data Entry Operator Job Roles are provided with free skills training using laboratory and equipment.
